Virginia A. "Ginny" (McLeod) Morgan, age 86, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Heritage Manor in Lowell after a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry W. " Moose" Morgan. She was born in Lexington, December 6, 1924, the daughter of the late John and Lucy (Whiting) McLeod. Ginny graduated from Tewksbury Hospital School of Practical Nursing in October of 1961. She retired from Tewksbury State Hospital after 28 years of service. She enjoyed music and sang in her church choir at the First Parish Church in Billerica. As a member of the singing group, the Mello Tones, she performed at nursing homes and veterans hospitals. Ginny, a volunteer for Community Teamwork in Lowell and the C.O.A., helped people by taking them shopping, to doctors appointments, etc. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary #2597 as a chaplain. She is survived by her son, grandson, great- grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
