Obituary of William M. Lemos

William M. Lemos, age 80, died Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Kindred Hospital in Peabody. He was the beloved husband of Adrienne C. (Dussault) Lemos. He was born in Somerville, September 13, 1930, a son of the late Frank and Mary (Walker) Lemos. A Sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean War, he served with the 59th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion out of Ft. Bliss in Texas. He was a recipient of several honors, including a Korean Service Medal with 3 camp stars, a United Nations Service Medal, and a National Defense Service Medal. After the War, Mr. Lemos worked as a supervisor for the Gillette Company in Boston for 30 years. He was a 48 year resident of the Town of Billerica. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Debra Kelley and her husband Michael of Billerica, William Lemos and his wife Deborah of Chelmsford, and Robert Lemos of Lowell; his brother, Charles Lemos of Arlington; his sisters, Frances Duggan of Florida and Theresa Cahill of Wilmington; and his three loving grandchildren, Kimberly Kelley Daniels, David Lemos, and Jessica Lemos. He also leaves his 2 great grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Frank Lemos, David Lemos, Marie Concannon, Dorothy Bradley, and Emma Lemos.
