I have fond memories of Mrs. Norton as one of the St. Mary's original "lunch ladies" back in the 1960's. If I didn't have enough money for lunch ($0.25), she would let me pay the next day! I was a classmate of Rita Cusack and graduated from St. Mary's Grammar School in 1966 and St. Mary's High School in 1970. I am the sister of John "Jay" Clark (died of cancer in 2007) and Joyce Clark McElwee.
It appears that Mrs. Norton lived a full life and my thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this difficult time. I will light a candle at Mass for her.
