John R. Coppola, Sr., age 70, died Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. He was the beloved husband of Cherryl M. (Holmes) Coppola. Born in Lawrence, June 5, 1940, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ethel (Bamford) Coppola. John was employed as a car salesman for Auto Use Car dealership in Andover. A resident of Billerica for 22 years, he enjoyed working in his yard and playing cards with his family and friends. He was especially looking forward to seeing his granddaughter walking. Besides his wife he is survived by his three sons, John Coppola Jr. of Billerica, Joseph Coppola of Lowell, and Anthony Coppola of Billerica, and his loving granddaughter, Jocelyn Coppola.
