Gladys A. Harrold, age 91, died Thursday, June 23, 2011, at her daughter's home in Dracut. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis C. Harrold. She was born in Woburn, November 13, 1919, the daughter of the late Mark and Anne (Ogg) Butler. Gladys graduate from Boston Medical School, Class of 1939, in Nursing. She started her career in Nursing at the Choate Hospital in Woburn and the Winchester Hospital. She later worked in many nursing homes in the area. She lived in Billerica for over 50 years and was an active member of the Senior Center. She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Landry of Lowell and Sandra Rondeau of Dracut. Her sister, Alice O'Donoghue of Reading, and her brother, Richard Butler of Woburn. Also survived by 11 loving grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Marianne Lacoy and the late Francis C. Harrold, Jr.
