Richard B. Blake, age 74, died Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen M. (Lopez) Blake. He was born in Billerica, April 5, 1937, the son of the late Harold Warren Blake, Sr. and Celia (Carignan) Blake. Richard worked for Sheraton Hotels for 20 years in downtown Boston and has spent the last 10 years in semi-retirement, working as a security guard at B.A.E. Systems in Nashua, NH. He is survived by sons , Brian Blake of Windsor, Ontario, and Brad Blake of Andover, his daughter, Cynthia Edwards of San Diego, CA, his brother Harold "Hank" Blake, Jr. of Billerica, his three sisters, Jackie St. Louis of Nashua, NH, and Barbara O'Leary and Sandra McKenna, both of Billerica. He also leaves his 7 loving grandchildren, Russell, April, Maia, Liam, Emily, Hannah, and Gabriella. He was also the father of the late Allison and Russell Edwards and the brother of the late Pauline Blake, Donald Blake, Jean Suprenant, and Alan Blake.
