William J. Roach, age 69, died Monday, January 1, 2012 at his home in Billerica. He was the loving and beloved husband of Marie (Bonaccorso) Roach. Born in Los Angeles, CA, July 10, 1942, he was the son of the late William and Grace (McCarthy) Roach. Bill, who retired from Eastern Refractories Company, was a lifetime member of the Billerica Elk's #2071 and an active member of the Billerica Senior Center. Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Tracy of NH and David and Liz of Texas, his daughters and son-in-law, Marybeth and Don of Mansfield, and Cheri Holladay of Chelmsford. He was the wonderful Papa to Cori, Jordan, Paige, Olivia, Adam, and Sarah Roach, David Quirk, Samantha, and Zachary Cragan, Amanda and Joshua Holladay, and Ariana Turco. He also leaves many family and dear friends. Bill was also the father of the late Ellen Roach.
