Obituary of Dorothy O'Leary

O'Leary of Charlton formerly of Cambridge, Dorothy (Faucher) O'Leary, age 92, died Monday, May 21, 2012 at her daughter's home in Charlton, surrounded by hr family. She was the wife of the late William H. O'Leary, who was assistant Tax Collector and Treasurer for the City of Cambridge. She was born July 31, 1919, the daughter of the late Peter and Delisca (Bissonnette) Faucher. She graduated from Cambridge High and Latin and went to work repairing machinery for National Cash Register Company. In 1947 she married William H. O'Leary. She lived in Cambridge until seven years ago when she moved to Charlton, MA, where she enjoyed her membership at Old Sturbridge Village and many a lunch and function at the Charlton Senior Center. Mother of Dorothy Cunningham and her husband Michael of Charlton, William O'Leary and his wife Kathleen of Arlington, Peter O'Leary and his wife Kathryn of Nashua, NH, Elizabeth Coughlin and her husband George of North Chelmsford, and Timothy O'Leary of Cambridge. Loving grandmother of Michael Cunningham of Spencer, Karen Anderson and her husband Scott of Hopedale, Edward Cacciola and his wife Ericka of Cambridge, Melissa Tulipano and her husband Michael of Burlington, Matthew O'Leary and Jackie O'Leary both of Arlington, U.S. Navy YN2, David O'Leary and Fiancee Michiko Watanabe of Newport News, VA, Megan O'Leary of Nashua, NH, Kay Coughlin of Jamaica Plain, Lance Corporal Christopher O'Leary of the British 1st Battalion Parachute Regiment, Blaengew, Wales, now serving in Afghanistan, Stephanie O'Leary of Brighton, England, and great-grandson Nicholas Tulipano of Burlington.
