Barbara A. (Adams) Wilson, age 80, died, surrounded by her loving family, Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Chelmsford. She was the wife of Carl A. Wilson, to whom she was married for 56 years. Born in Manchester, NH, November 21, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Eugene I. and Myrtice D. (Philbrick) Adams. Barbara, who received her degree as a Medical Technologist from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, worked for over 30 years as an administrator at Brainard Insurance Agency in Billerica. She loved traveling, gardening, and bird watching. Barbara also enjoyed bowling and golfing. She was an avid Red Sox fan and a very active member of the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church of Billerica. Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Joyce Lothian and her husband Thomas of Northwood, NH and her two sons, Stephen Wilson and his fiancee Nancy Humprey of Ipswich, and Gary Wilson and his wife Pamela of Pepperell. She also leaves her four grandchildren, Adam and Dean "DJ" Royston, Jonathan Wilson, and Danielle Morgan and her husband Brian, and her great grandchild, Jamieson Morgan. She was also the sister of the late Eugene Adams.
