Obituary of Patricia E. Bowen

Patricia E. (Barlow) Bowen, age 73, a Billerica resident of 46 years, died on June 10, 2009 after a long illness. Born on October 24, 1935 in Boston, Pat was the beloved daughter of the late Jack and Patricia Barlow. Pat grew up in the Forest Hills area of Boston and was a graduate of Roslindale High School. After completing a two-year executive training program, Pat was employed as Assistant Buyer for Jordan Marsh in Boston. After a brief hiatus Pat continued her career at Jordan Marsh in Burlington as a sales associate. Pat served on the First Parish Church Memorial Committee, was a life member of the Billerica Historical Society, and was a member of the Recycled Teenager Senior Group. Her many hobbies included traveling, theatre, bowling, miniature golf, horseshoes, and doting on her granddaughters. Pat immensely enjoyed outings with family and friends. Surviving Pat is her devoted husband of 48 years, Andrew, a loving son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Debra, her precious granddaughters, Jessica and Kaitlyn, two dear siblings and spouses, Valerie and Richard Sullivan of Westwood and John and Eileen Barlow of Mashpee, a special cousin, David Lee and his wife Pamela of Dedham, nephews and niece, Mark Sullivan, Michael Sullivan (IL), John Barlow III (NH), and Michele Burke, and sisters-in-law, Sandra Boehnke (CA), Jean Metz (NH), Carol Miskevich, Janet Whipple, and Marsha O�Donoghue (FL). She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and dear friends. Pat and her family appreciated the support of the visiting nursing staff.
