Berniece Claire (Geyer) Hallet, age 82, died Wednesday December 26, 2012 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester. She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin W. Hallet, Sr. She was born in Newton, July 28, 1930, the daughter of the late Charlton D. and Margaret (Burns) Geyer. She was the oldest of 10 children and spent her childhood in Newton. In 1957 Berniece and her husband relocated to Billerica to raise their family. She took great pride in being a homemaker and mother. Berniece was a communicant of St. Theresa's Church in Billerica. She is survived by her six children, Linda E. (McGough) Grace and her husband Charles of Lincolnville, Maine, Robert L. McGough, Jr. and his wife Maureen of Townsend, Margaret B. McGough of Milford, NH, Edwin W. Hallet, Jr. of Worcester, John D. Hallet and his wife Anne of Billerica, and Patricia M. Hallet and her partner Michele Barys of Worcester. She also leaves her 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and one more on the way. She was also the mother of James who died in infancy.
