William J. Dungan, age 78, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. He was the beloved husband of Nancy P. (Barnard) Dungan, to whom he was married 56 years. Born in Cambridge, October 5, 1934, he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Cronin) Dungan. He served with the United States Navy during the Korean War. A retired artist, Bill enjoyed gardening, traveling (especially to Walt Disney World), painting, drawing, and spending time with family. Besides his wife, Bill is survived by his three sons, John Dungan and his wife Diana of Windham, NH, Eric Dungan and his wife Carolyn of Lowell, and Larry Dungan and his wife Leslie of Nashua, NH; his brother, Robert Dungan of FL; and his sister, Ruth St. Sauveur of Melrose. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Kelsey and Tyler, Stephanie, Kelly, Korey, Kris, and William, Jr. Bill leaves many other family, cousins, and friends. He was also the father of the late Lorna Glavin and William Dungan, Jr., and the brother of the late Jack Dungan and Patsy (Dungan) Lyons.
