Obituary of Paul V. Kunze
Paul V. Kunze, Jr., died peacefully, surrounded by his family, Monday, February 18, 2013, at his home in Billerica. He was the beloved husband of Jeanne M. (LeClair) Kunze, to whom he was married 50 years. Born in Medford, October 7, 1925, he was the son of the late Paul V. Kunze, Sr., and Emma (Schroeder) Kunze. Paul, a veteran of the United States Coast Guard, was in active combat during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He was a recipient of the American Ribbon, WWII Victory Ribbon, and the Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon. After the service he was a self-employed business owner for many years of Absolute Precision Silk Screen in Woburn. Paul was an avid Boston Bruins Fan. He also enjoyed woodworking and traveling. Above all, he loved his family. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Kurt L. Kunze of Billerica, Brett T. Kunze and his wife Donna of Methuen, Paul V. Kunze III and his wife Jennie of Fort Worth, TX, Heidi J. Kunze of Billerica, and Paula Yunger of FL. He also leaves his daughter-in-law, Martha Kunze of VA. In addition, he was the brother of Anne Evans of Memphis, TN, and Walter Kunze of Tewksbury. Paul was the devoted grandfather of Samantha Dobbins and Sabrina Baker, both of Georgia, Reagan Younger of Florida, Derek and Brenna Kunze of Methuen, and Natasha and Graysen Kunze of Fort Worth, Texas. He also leaves behind his great grandchildren, Lucas, Tyson, Bradley, Alisha, and Gabrielle Paul of Maine, and Russell Dobbins and Kimberly and Stephen Baker of Georgia. Paul was also the father of the late Stephen P. Kunze, and the brother of the late Mina Wyman, Virginia Kunze, Margaret Crowley, and Veronica Lyons. He was also the grandfather of the late Shannon Paul.
