Obituary of Joan A. Fitzpatrick

Joan A. Fitzpatrick, age 69, died Friday, June 26, 2009 at Saints Medical Center in Lowell after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Thomas L. Fitzpatrick. Born in Cambridge, February 19, 1940, she was the daughter of late Francis and Alice (Kerr) Walsh. She worked as an office manager and a personal secretary to Outer Bridge Industries. Mrs. Fitzpatrick, a Billerica resident for 40 years, enjoyed decorating her home, particularly for the holidays. An avid reader, she also enjoyed vacationing at York Beach, especially with her cherished grandchildren. Beside her husband, she is survived by her four sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn and Kelly Fitzpatrick of Danville, NH, Marc and Darlene Fitzpatrick of Wolfeboro, NH, Sean Fitzpatrick of Tyngsboro, and Thomas Fitzpatrick III, of Billerica, her two daughters and sons-in-law, Colleen and Frank Altobelli of Billerica and Kelly and Jason Keirstead of Seabrook, NH, her sister Margaret Sullivan of Waltham, and her brother David Walsh of Florida. She also leaves her 11 loving grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also mother of the late Michael Fitzpatrick, the sister of the late John Walsh, and the loving grandmother of the late Frank Altobelli.
