Maura E. O’Donnell, age 52, died Sunday, June 16, 2013, with her family by her side at the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Cambridge, December 7, 1960, she was the devoted daughter of Philip and Marilynn (Gove) O’Donnell. Maura worked for Siemens Company in Burlington as a Software Designer for over 25 years. She is survived by her loving son, Brian O’Donnell of Manchester, NH; her parents, Philip and Marilynn (Gove) O’Donnell of Mashpee; her sister and brother-in-law, Anne Buttner and her husband, Paul, of Haverhill; her brother and sister-in-law, Philip O’Donnell, Jr., and his wife, Cindy, of Etna, NH; her adoring nieces and nephews, Nicholas and Carolyn O’Donnell of Etna, NH, and Tom and Katie Buttner of Haverhill, and her great niece, Kalina. Maura taught others to find joy in everyday no matter the circumstances and to love family and friends without limits.
