Obituary of Judith A. Foppiano
Judith A. (Verna) Foppiano, age 68, died Sunday, July 7, 2013 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was the beloved wife of Anthony C. Foppiano to whom she was married 45 years. She was born in Stoneham, January 16, 1945, the daughter of the late Emilio and Catherine (DiGiovanni) Verna. Judith, a lifelong resident of Billerica, worked as a dental assistant in Malden. She was also substitute teacher in the Billerica School System as well as a travel agent for Excel Int'l in Billerica. Judy loved to cook and enjoyed making jewelry and scrapbooking. Besides her husband, Tony, Judith is survived by her three daughters and sons in-law, Cathy McGrath and her husband, Patrick, of East Bridgewater, Kristen Lombardi and her husband, Kirk, of Methuen, and Cara Glennon and her husband, Richard, of Billerica; her brother, Louis Centrella of Florida and her brother-in-law, Richard Foppiano of Billerica. She also leaves her 8 loving grandchildren, Brendan, Briana, Ryan, Emily, Derek, Zoe, Jack and Lola and several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was also the sister-in-law of the late Donna Foppiano.
