Loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Robert Clyde Chandler, 76, of Billerica, MA on Friday, July 12, 2013 at the D’Youville Senior Care with his family at his side. Born January 28, 1937, Robert was the son of the late Clyde and Florence (Dixon) Chandler. He is survived by his wife Helen (Bannister) Chandler; his daughters, Dana Chandler of Concord, Linda Reeve and her husband Scott of Westford, and daughter Karen Labossier and her husband William of Derry, NH; and his son Gary Chandler of Billerica, MA. Robert was a devoted and much loved grandfather to William Labossier III, Brian Labossier, Bethany Labossier, and Michael Reeve. Robert is also survived by his sister Betty Troughton and her husband Jack; as well as several nieces and nephews. Robert was a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy from 1955 – 1959. After being honorably discharged from the US Navy, he worked for Polaroid Corporation for 34 years. Upon retiring in 1995, he enjoyed working and golfing at the Billerica Country Club. Robert also enjoyed traveling with his wife and family, and was an avid outdoorsman.
