Obituary of Felix A. Giacoppo

Felix A. Giacoppo, age 79, died Friday, October 4, 2013 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Florence M. (Martell) Giacoppo. Born in Cambridge, November 21, 1933, he was the son of the late Domenic and Christina (Amato) Giacoppo. Felix was in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. A retired truck driver, he was a member of the Teamsters, local #25. Felix was also a member of the Executive Board of Deputy Sheriff Association and the Italian American Police Association. Besides his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Christine Goucher and Debra Kelley and her husband, James, all of Billerica; his son and daughter-in-law, Phillip Giacoppo and his wife, Susan, of Pelham, NH; his son-in-law, Frank Goucher, of Pelham, NH; his two brothers, Michael Giacoppo and his wife, Thelma, of Burlington and Russell Giacoppo and his wife, Marge, of Malden; and his sister, Angie DeMeo of Billerica. He also leaves his 7 loving grandchildren, Franky, Jason, Jennifer, Christine, Jamie, Zac and A.J., his great grandsons, Luke and Jackson, and his many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother-in-law of Donald and DeeDee Martell of Florida.
