Obituary of Lillian Neale Evans
Lillian Neale (Pearce) Evans, age 82, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Stanley Evans to whom she was married 60 years. She was born in Boston, February 24, 1931, the daughter of the late Reginald and Lillian (Broughton) Pearce. Lil graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and retired from the Arkwright-Boston Insurance Company in Waltham after 25 years. She loved to travel and went to Africa, Europe, China, Egypt and all over the United States. She was a talented artist who did oil painting and needlework. She also volunteered for 12 years at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. Besides her husband she is survived by her three children, Holly Fudge and her husband, Don, of Redmond, Washington, Kenneth Evans of Tyngsboro, and Betsy Fuller and her husband, Dave, of Tyngsboro. She was Grammy to her four grandchildren, Ian and Evan Fudge and Evan and Cameron Fuller. Lil was a wonderful and much loved wife, mother and grandmother. We will miss her dearly.
