Zhang, Xiaolan, resident of Life Care CTR, North Billerica, formerly of Washington DC, passed away on November 27, 2013. Xiaolan was the beloved wife of Chihching Pei and also a loving mother and grandmother. Born in 1930, Quzhou, Zhejiang, China, she was the oldest daughter of Yingshan Zhang and Yulin Chen. She grew up in Quzhou and then moved to Hangzhou in 1948 to study at Hangzhou Art Academy; and married Chihching Pei in 1949. She was a silk product designer in Hangzhou DuJinsheng Silk Brocade Company for 27 years and immigrated to the US in1992. Besides her husband, she is survived by six children and their families of Dalin & Mian, VA; Xiaolin & Xuefei, CT; Xiaoming & Zhihua, CT; Xiaohong & Zhigang, MA; Xiaoying & Guanhuai, MA; and Sharon & Xinzhuo, MA. She also leaves six grandchildren: Weiwei Chen, Willa Chen, Liang Pei, Julia Pei, Lily Liu, and Christopher Pei; and her younger brother Zhang, Zongdong and Zhang, Jiankang in China.
