Alice M. (Gauthier) Ciesla, age 83, died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Heritage Nursing Care Center in Lowell. She was the beloved wife of Andrew J. “Andre” Ciesla to whom she was married 62 years. She was born in Lowell, March 31, 1931, the daughter of the late Henry and Anna (Goslin) Gauthier. Alice enjoyed knitting and crocheting and taught Adult Education Classes in the Billerica, Bedford and Chelmsford School Systems. She was a resident of Billerica for over 50 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by her three sons, Bruce Ciesla of Billerica, David Ciesla of Chelmsford, and Andre Ciesla and his wife, Elaine, from Lakeland, Florida and her sister, Esther Gath of Tewksbury. She also leaves her 6 loving grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Leo and Gus Gauthier and Theresa Ouellette.
