H. Paul Cote, age 88, formerly of Chelmsford and Springhill, FL, died, peacefully, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, Monday, April 14, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Vera (Roma) Cote. Born in Turners Falls, MA, December 11, 1925, he was the son of the late Homer and Ida (LaChapelle) Cote. Paul served during WWII in the U.S. Navy in the pacific on a PT boat. He later became a corporate accountant. He loved playing golf and was an avid Boston sports fan. His hobbies included oil painting, building model n gauge train sets and model ships. Paul's positive attitude and crystal blue will be greatly missed by all. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Karen Edwards of Virginia, Susan VanArsdale of Methuen, David Cote and Doreen French of Northfield, NH, and Kimberly Cote and her husband, Richard Bland, of Norton. He also leaves his 8 loving grandchildren, Courtney and Kristin VanArsdale, Michael, Kelly and Christopher Cote, and Tori, Alexandra, and Tiger Bland and his great grandson, Jacob.
