Transue of Boston, May 4, 2014, Jeanne (McCarthy) Transue, age 66. Devoted mother of Michele Long and her husband Michael, of Weymouth. Loving sister of Mary Kivell and her husband, Francis, of North Andover, Jack McCarthy and his wife, Kathy, of Newton and Rita Silverman and her husband, Gary, of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Also survived by three loving grandchildren, Brianna, Kelsey and Mackenzie Kase, and nieces and nephews and cousins. Visiting hours will be held in the John C. Burns & Sons Funeral Home, 305 Broadway, Cambridge, Friday, May 9, from 4-7 p.m. Relatives and friends invited. Interment will be private.
