We would like to extend our sincere condolances to the Fitzmaurice family. T. F. will be missed and remembered by many people not only because of his humanity but also because of his tremendous sense of humor which took a back seat to his jaw dropping dance moves that brought a sense of pride to whoever was fortunate enough to be with him at the time as people watched in awe and literally formed circles around him to watch this unforgetable display of his dance moves. T.F. you were truly gifted and brought many pleasures to many people. You will be missed but never forgotten. Thank you my brother for all the good times.
My name is Richard Coffman and I served with Tom in the United States Air Force. I served a brief time with him at Castle Air Force Base in California and we were both aircraft electricians. I was going through some old paperwork and found a set of orders that Tom gave me showing him going back to Massachusetts. He gave them to me to let me know when I was ever in Cambridge to look him up The orders were his discharge papers which I thought he was getting out of the Air Force but apparently he reenlisted and went back in and retired. Tom always had a great sense of humor and made me laugh many many times. I went online to see if I could find some information about him what he was up to and came across the site if his passing. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing and my condolences to his family.
