Elaine (Evans) Hart, age 69, beloved wife of John P. Hart to whom she was married 46 years, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Lahey Hospital Medical Center in Burlington. She was born in Scranton, PA, the daughter of the late Frederick and Doris (Hauser) Evans. Elaine graduated from Brown University, Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. She last worked for Assurance Technology Corporation in Carlisle in accounts payable until her retirement in 2009. Elaine enjoyed many activities including reading, drawing, painting, quilting, and crocheting. She loved animals, Siamese cats and Horses in particular. She was also an avid puzzle enthusiast as well as a classical music lover. Elaine enjoyed spending time with her family. Besides her husband, she is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, David Hart and his wife, Karen, of Litchfield, NH and Dennis Hart and his wife, Jennifer, of Methuen, her daughter and son in-law, Stephanie Cacioppo and her husband, Douglas, of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA and her three sisters, Joyce Dunlap of Uxbridge, MA, Cheryl Evans of Woodstock, GA, and Gwendolyn McGhee of Allenstown, NH. She also leaves her 6 loving grandchildren, Ryan Hart, Mathew Hart, Sarah Hart, Aidan Hart, Quinton Hart, Jacob Cacioppo, and her 8 nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late George Evans.
