Lillian E. (Bowden) Cunningham, age 97, of Lexington passed away on Friday, August 14, 2009 at her residence. She was the wife of the late George T. Cunningham. Born in Walla Walla, Washington on June 7, 1912, she was the daughter of the late William and Cassie (Lohner) Bowden. She taught Sunday School at the South Medford Baptist Church and, in 1950, moved to Lexington, where she was a founding member of Grace Chapel, Lexington. Mrs. Cunningham worked in sales for various retail stores and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be missed by many who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son Thomas F. Cunningham and his wife Susan of Lowell, four grandchildren, David Cunningham and his wife Sallyann, John M. Cunningham and his partner Alan Bowers, Beth M. Perry and her husband Anthony, and Timothy W. Cunningham and his wife Irena , five great-grandchildren, Anthony Perry II, Allyson Cunningham, Nicole C. Perry, Andrew Cunningham, and Lana N. Cunningham.
