Mrs. Mildred Fairbrother, age 81, a longtime resident of Billerica, died in Lowell on December 26, 2014, with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles E. Fairbrother III who died in 2007. Born in Lowell, on December 3, 1933, Mildred was a daughter of the late Leon and Lorraine Arel. She was educated in the Lowell School system. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at New England Pediatrics for many years. Surviving her are many brothers and sisters, five daughters: Theresa Lewis, Charlene Stark, Mary May, Diana Fairbrother and Sharon Cassidy; she was a loving grandmother to twelve, and great grandmother to four. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visiting hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on January 3, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 18 Andover Road, Billerica.
