Edward J. DiGiovanni, age 92, died Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Lowell General Saint's Campus. He was the beloved husband of Julia M. (Dragun) DiGiovanni to whom he was married 67 years. Born in Boston, April 10, 1922, Edward was the son of the late Arthur and Rose (Rubbicco) DiGiovanni. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and a member of the Tin Can Sailors, a National Association of Destroyer Veterans in the United States. He was also a member of the D.A.V. After the service he started his own company, M & D Respiratory Repair, SVC in Billerica. Besides his wife he is survived by his son, Edward J. DiGiovanni, Jr. of Billerica and his daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Brian Conroy of Dracut, his two brothers, Arthur DiGiovanni of Billerica and Walter DiGiovanni of Fairfield, CT, and his five loving grandchildren, Jill Glencross, Edward DiGiovanni, III, Danielle Healy, Brian Conroy, Jr., and Michael DiGiovanni. He also leaves his six great grandchildren.
