May the "hearer of prayer" continue to strengthen your family. Lean on one another as the days ahead become to hard to bear alone. Share your memories they will be a source of comfort that can help you cope and grant you peace.
We hope that the many cards, hugs, kind words and loving prayers sustain your family during this most difficult time.

Carolyn was a dear friend in nursing school and we touched base briefly during the past 50 years. I remember fondly being at her house with Robert running around us teasing him. So sorry for your loss Robert and Alan. She was a fine woman and I was honored to know her. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Carolyn and I were Nursing School classmates. Even as young woman, she was dedicated to the profession of Nursing. From those I have met, who have worked under her leadership,it sounds as though that dedication continued throughout her nursing career. She truly maintained the professionalism in Nursing. I am told that she was an excellent nursing leader who was very approachable and clinically knowledgeable.
We were a small and close knit class. I am very saddened to hear of her death.I offer my sincere condolences to her family.

Carolyn was my nurse manager for over a decade. I have worked for 8 nurse managers and she was one of the best. Carolyn was highly respected by those who worked with her. She was a leader and a person who was fair. She led the MGH cardiac surgical ICU unit from its beginnings into the 21st century.
My condolences to Carolyn's family.
