David B. Cullen, Sr., age 82, died Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Lowell General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Joan M. (Collins) Cullen to whom he was married 53 years. Born in Cambridge, David was the son of the late Maurice and Catherine (Burgess) Cullen. He served during the Korean War and was a disabled Army Veteran. Mr. Cullen worked for the Sheriff’s Department, Middlesex County Hospital for over 30 years. A Billerica resident for 45 years, he was a member of the Billerica Elks, Lodge # 2071 and a communicant at St. Theresa’s Church. Besides his wife, he survived by his children and sons-in-law, Joan Marie Wentworth and her husband, Richard, of Billerica, David Cullen, Jr. of Dracut, Maureen Moquin and her husband, Michael, of Merrimack, NH, and Karen Cullen of FL, and his sisters, Mary Jane Mahoney and Lillian Maher, both of Cambridge. He also leaves his 7 loving grandchildren, Corey Plouffe, Kayla Wentworth, Patrick Wentworth, Brandon Moquin, Kyle Moquin, Matthew Cullen and Brittany Cullen, his 2 great grandchildren, Amelia Kammann and Isabella Ocasio-Wentworth, and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Maurice Cullen.
