Kersulis of Somerville, formerly of Cambridge, September 8, 2009, Mary (Evans) Kersulis, age 88. Mother of Jerry Powell and her husband Walter of Salem, NH and the late William Kelly and Paul Kersulis. Grandmother of Jimmy and David Powell, Laurine Brennanstuhl, Peggy Denehy, and James Kelly. Also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. She was the sister of Daniel Evans of Hull and Helen Latanawich of Somerville, the sister in-law of Hazel Evans of Somerville, and the aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Edward, Bob, and Tom Evans, Pearl Driscoll, Gladys Mello, and Gussie Spingle. Funeral services to be held on Saturday, September 12 at 9:00 a.m. from the John C. Burns & Sons Funeral Home, 305 Broadway, Cambridge, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Norfolk St., Cambridge. Visiting hours, Friday, September 11 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Interment Cambridge Cemetery.
