Gladys I. (Lavalle) Fitzpatrick, age 97, died Monday, April 20, 2015, at Wingate at Belvidere Nursing Home in Lowell. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas L. Fitzpatrick to whom she was married 75 years. Born in Cambridge, July 30, 1917, she was the daughter of the late George and Edith (Glass) Lavalle. Gladys, a communicant at St. Andrew's Parish for many years, was a wonderful homemaker. She also did clerical work for the Billerica School Department. The family would like to acknowledge and express their appreciation for the great care Gladys received from the staff at Wingate at Belvidere Nursing Home in Lowell. She is survived by her son, Thomas L. Fitzpatrick, Jr., of Billerica, her daughter and son-in-law, Arlene and Brian Pendleton of Billerica, her 14 loving grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Ellen Folland and mother-in-law of the late Joan Fitzpatrick, and grandmother of 2 late grandchildren and 2 late great grandchildren.
