Virginia "Ginny" Frederick, age 69, passed away after a long illness on September 5, 2008 at the Baker-Katz Nursing Home in Haverhill. Ginny was born in Somerville on October 14, 1938, and then spent most of her life living in Malden. Ginny loved to cook � utilizing her skills as a cook for the Malden Home for Aging Persons for many years. In her spare time she loved to go to church fairs, make arts and crafts, take cruises, travel to Florida, and enjoy time with her family. She is survived and loved by her brother Paul Frederick (late wife Elaine) of Florida, sisters Carol Williams (husband Lenny) of Florida, Margie Tucker (husband Walter) of New Hampshire, and 7 other brothers and sisters throughout the United States. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Kathy Fredrick, Walter & Lee Stowell, David & Lisa Stowell, Wayne & Susan Stowell, Patricia Mallory, Kenneth & Valerie Tucker, and 16 great-nieces and nephews. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances during a Memorial Service in the Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Road (Rt. 3A), Billerica, on Saturday, September 20, 2008 from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please honor Ginny with donations to the American Diabetes Association.
