Kathryn "Karyn" L. (Hansis) Marmiani, age 74, died Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Lowell General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Anthony W. Marmiani to whom she was married for over 50 years. Born in Waltham, May 23, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Henry J. and Mary L. (McGowan) Hansis. Karyn was the Treasurer of Billerica Class of 1957. She served on the Class Reunion Committee and was a member of the BMHS/Howe High School Alumni Association and the BMHS Athletic Hall of Fame. She was also a long time member of the Greater Billerica Horseman's Association, secretary of the Billerica Sons of Italy, Mixed Lodge # 2268 and a Town Meeting Rep. Karyn also enjoyed and competed in 10 pin bowling leagues for over twenty five years. She loved to travel and vacation at her summer home in Machiasport, Maine. She was also the Owner/Operator of Karyn's Kookies for 12 years, a wholesale cookie company she started in Billerica. Besides her husband, she is survived by her two children, Lisa J. Angelina and Christopher J. Marmiani, both of Billerica and her 4 loving grandchildren, Anthony, Shayna and Shantel Vigliotta and Domenic Centola. She was also the loving aunt of Keri (Hansis) Boucher of CT, Kendra (Hansis) Plotkin of NJ, and Kim ( Hansis) Delaney of CT. She was also the sister-in-law of Judy (Hansis) Berger, of TX and former mother-in-law of Robert Vigliotta of Lynnfield. She was also the twin sister of the late Henry Hansis, III.
