Roland W. Johnson, age 79, died Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the Wingate at Andover. He was the beloved husband of the late Jean Ann (Corman) Johnson. He was born in Worcester, May 1, 1936, the son of the late Philip and Mary Johnson. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served during the Korean War. Roland worked in shipping/receiving at Cr Bard Inc. in Billerica. He enjoyed traveling and ballroom dancing with his wife and taking classes at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. Roland enjoyed playing the guitar, bingo and riding his bicycle, even to work in Cambridge. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law; Gail and Stephen Hartery of Billerica, his grandchildren; Christopher Hartery of Stoughton and Brianna Hartery of Billerica, his 2 nephews, 2 nieces, 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew. He was the also the father of the late Carol Linetski and the late Nancy Johnson and brother of the late Albin Anderson, Jr., grandfather of the late Catherine Hartery.
