Obituary of Robert H. Price
Robert H Price, 84, of Windham, NH, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill, MA. Bob was born in Medford, MA, on January 14, 1931. He was the son of the late Rufus B and Hazel (Hatfield) Price. Bob was a 1949 graduate of Medford High School. He held senior IT positions at H.K. Porter, Hersey Products, and M.W. Carr Picture Frames prior to his retirement in the mid 1990’s. He also spent 10 years as a medic in the Army National Guard.
Bob was an active fifty year member of Thomas Talbot Masonic Lodge in Billerica and was awarded the Joseph Warren Medal. He was also a member of the Aleppo Shrine, the Order of Eastern Star, an arduous worker, supporter and advisory board member of the Order of DeMolay and the International Order of Rainbow for Girls. His diligence and hard work with all these organizations was recognized on numerous occasions where he was the recipient of accolades and honors from each.
He was a communicant of St Anne’s Episcopal Church where he served on the vestry, the finance committee and as a religious education teacher for many years.
The light of his life was his family. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joan (Morrissey), his son Robert Jr and his wife Linda of Billerica, MA, his son Donald and his wife Ann of Andover, MA, as well as his daughter Judith Gallagher and her husband John, of Tyngsboro, MA, his daughter Leslie Harrower and her husband Peter of Ayer, MA, and his daughter Stephanie McIsaac and her husband Scott of Tyngsboro, MA. This loving grandfather and great grandfather also leaves behind, 11 grandchildren, Jennifer (Price) Brucker and her husband Daniel, Robert H Price III and his fiancé Elizabeth Daltas, Kevin Price and his wife Kelly, Evan Price, Caroline Price, John Gallagher III, Erin Gallagher, Jameson Harrower, Abby McIsaac, Jillian McIsaac, and Meghan McIsaac, as well as 2 great grandchildren Alexander and Katherine Brucker. Bob leaves two brothers, Richard of Plymouth and Rufus of Haverhill and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, the late Joan Crews, and his grandson, the late Colin Price.
