John F. Lavery, age 68, died peacefully at his home in Billerica, Monday, October 19, 2015, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Linda M. (Carmody) Lavery. Born in Boston, November 1, 1946, he was the son of the late James and Katherine (Doherty) Lavery. John worked as an electrical engineer for Interstate Electrical Service Corp. in Billerica for over 20 years. John was most proud of his12 grandchildren and all of their accomplishments. His greatest joy was being "Papa" to them who brought immense joy to his life... just seeing them brought a smile to his face. Besides his wife, Linda, he is survived by his son, James Lavery of Billerica, his daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberley Pigott and her husband, Richard, of Burlington, Christina Gerossie and her husband, John, of Chester, NH, Kelley LeBlanc and her husband, Steven, of Hudson, NH, and Kerry Marion and her husband, Jeff, of Nashua, NH; his two sisters, Joanne Quinlan of NJ and Kathleen Sullivan of MA; his brother, Thomas Lavery of Chicago, IL, and his 12 loving grandchildren.
