For almost 60 years, Mr Murphy served as our family's accountant. He always greeted us at his office visits with a caring and professional manner while interjecting his great wit and humor. His keeness to detail in his work prevailed. At the beginning of each appointment for the tax return season the respective family member seated beside that great oak desk answered... "No, Mr.Murphy, I have no lottery winnings or jury duty pay to declare this year." And to your infamous question... "No Swiss bank accounts!" This became a running joke in our family. He will be sorely missed.
