Zachary M. Brown, age 28, of Lowell, formerly of Billerica, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. We lost our loving son this week after a long struggle with addiction. Zack, like so many others, worked hard to break his dependency but was unable to overcome it. Zack’s passing leaves us with great sorrow and broken hearts. Born in Boston on August 5, 1987, he grew up in Billerica with his older brother Jeffrey and younger sister Courtney. Zack loved playing baseball, football and lacrosse on Billerica teams. He loved fly fishing, skateboarding and biking. After attending Billerica Memorial High School, Zack joined the Army National Guard. He is survived by his Father and Mother, Larry and Connie (MacPherson) Brown, his brother Jeffrey, sister Courtney and her fiancé Chris Howe, his nephew Trevor Howe as well as Grandparents, Carl and Norma (Cunningham) Brown, Aunts and Uncles, Judie (Brown) and Cork Washburne, Marion Smith, MaryJean Kelly, Bud and Debbie (Benoit) McGarry, Jack and Elinor (Graham) McGarry along with many cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his Grandparents, Christine McGarry and Angus MacPherson, Aunt June McGarry Lord and his Uncle Pat Smith.
