Gloria Margaret (Weber) Dubey Wilkins, age 90, died Monday, December 14, 2015 at her home in Billerica. She was the beloved wife of Francis P. “Frank” Wilkins, Sr. Born in Lowell, January 8, 1925, she was the daughter of the late John and Marietta (Altemus) Weber. Gloria was adopted by her aunt, Etta Lavoie. She attended The Congregation of the Sisters of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin, located in Nicolet, Quebec, Canada, graduating in 1943. She received numerous accreditations for her excellence in shorthand and typing. Gloria remained an active member of their alumnae. Following school she was employed by the HI Hat Restaurant and Bon Marche of Lowell. She later retired as a Accounting Technician from Hanscom Air Force Base after 30 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by her step children; Francis P. Wilkins, Jr. and his wife, Jeannine, of Marshfield, Charles Wilkins and his wife, Patricia, of Dracut, Marianne Wilkins of Dracut and Kathy Dubey Croft of Ayer. She also leaves her niece, Janette Joyce of Billerica, her nephews, John Weber of Tyngsboro and Joseph Weber of Gardner and a dear cousin, Dorothy Gaumont of Lowell. She will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also the wife of the late James Dubey and the sister of the late Napoleon Weber and stepmother of the late Audrey Dubey Rackett.
