Paul J. DeBenedictis, age 73, died Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Lauraline R. (Frost) DeBenedictis. Born in Billerica, December 6, 1942, he was the son of the late Carmine and Theresa (Robbio) DeBenedictis. Paul, a licensed plumber, began his career working for Fred L. Webster Company in Lowell before going out on his own. A lifelong Billerica resident, he was a standout baseball player in his youth and a lover of the game throughout his life. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Michael P. DeBenedictis of Billerica and his daughter, Darlene R. DiCamillo of Dracut; his three loving grandchildren, Samantha, Kaylee and Brandon; his 11 siblings, Daniel DeBenedictis of Billerica, Vincent DeBenedictis and his wife, Barbara, of Hampstead, NH., Lawrence DeBenedictis and his wife, Carol, of Billerica, Agnes Spinney of Billerica, Anthony DeBenedictis and his wife, Lucia of Hudson, NH, Anna Mason of Harvard, MA, Angelo DeBenedictis and his wife, Lillian, of Carlisle, Carmine DeBenedictis and his wife, Alice, of Billerica, Caroline Vitale and her husband, William, of Billerica, Peter DeBenedictis and his wife, Barbara, of TX, and Pauline DeDiego and her husband, Robert, of Pepperell; and his brother -in-law, Donald F. Frost and his wife, Deborah, of ME.
