Doroteo P. Rivamonte, age 89, died Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Lahey Clinic Hospital in Burlington, after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Jeanne M. (Perrier) Rivamonte, to whom he was married for 60 years. He was born in Santa Cruz, Marinduque, P.I., October 21, 1926, the son of the late Cecelia (Parreno) Rivamonte. He served in the United States Navy for 20 years, as a cook and continued to work in this capacity, until his retirement. Besides his wife, he is survived by his two sons, James Rivamonte and his wife, Colleen, of MI and S. Walter Rivamonte of Billerica, his two daughters, Karen Cote-Fern and her husband, Randall, of MI and Nancy Bean and her husband, Donald Maillet, of New Brunswick, Canada. His 5 grandchildren, Michael Rivamonte and his wife, Clair, Ryan Rivamonte, Taylor Cote, Samuel Cote, and Olivia Bean and his great granddaughter, Charlotte Rivamonte.
