Obituary of Lynne Dale MacDonald

Lynne Dale (Brown) MacDonald, age 62, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, October 25, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Reubin I. MacDonald whom she married July 24, 1976 in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Born in Lowell, May 17, 1954, she was the daughter of Barbara (McCabe) Brown of Billerica and the late Leonard J. Brown, Sr. Lynne graduated from Billerica Memorial High School, Class of 1972 and attended Fitchburg College and the University of Prince Edward Island. She worked as a Financial Unit Supervisor at Sun Life of Canada, Wellesley, MA from 1986 to 1998. She was a member of the First Congregational Church, Billerica and the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, MA chapter. Lynne spent her years after retirement helping to care for her grandchildren whom she loved to the moon and back. She enjoyed spending her summers on PEI with her husband where they enjoyed sunsets, catching a show at Kaylee Hall or having a cup of tea on their deck just spending time together. Winters were spent in Kissimmee, FL. Besides her husband and mother, Lynne is survived by her daughter, Lynne D. Masotta and her husband, Marc of Dracut, her sons, Joshua A. MacDonald and his wife, Jill of Billerica and Matthew A. MacDonald and longtime girlfriend, Holly Bliss of Billerica; her 8 loving grandchildren, Taylor Penny, Morgan Penny, Cameron Penny, Domenic Masotta, Sarah Masotta, Paige MacDonald , Roderick MacDonald and Finley MacDonald. She also leaves her sisters, Lalia Nuzzolo and her husband, Ray, of NC, Susan Brown of Lowell, Barbara Brown of Lowell, and her brother, Leonard Brown, Jr., and his wife, Julie, of Santa Barbara, CA. Other survivors include her nephews Nicholas and Andrew Langathianos and many cousins.
