Bernie (WIfe) posted a condolence
I lost my love, my rock and nothing can fill the emptiness I feel inside. I know he is not suffering anymore but it still doesn't replace the way I feel. I look around an empty room and still see you sitting in your chair. You will always be in my heart. So fly high my Angel and do so with no pain.. My love is with you always and forever.

Aaron Lemaire posted a condolence
Death is hard for us all. It's something we don't understand, weather we choose to believe in something after, or not. But there is something we can hold onto while we live, and that's love. I will forever cherish the memory of my dad's voice saying "I love you, son".
It was the voice that guided me through my youth and it will be the voice that provides me strength throughout life.
A short poem from me to dad:
When you had gone,
something felt wrong.
The branches stopped swaying,
the wind so still.
The grass motionless,
an empty void I could not fill.
You were my dad,
and always will be.
I never got the chance to see you,
or for you to see me.
It saddens me that you are gone,
and all that remains are memories.
They're mostly of your voice,
and just the things you would tell me.
I have learnt a lot from you,
things I should and should not do.
I wish I could hear your voice,
and for you to hear mine too.
Forever in my heart and mind,
because the man you became was so kind.
Now you lay your head to rest,
I hope you knew... you were the best.
I love you forever and always, dad.
Your son,
Aaron.

To my dearest friend
Louie you walked into my life on my 18th birthday, and you gave me the gift of friendship. Some 32 years later, I can't say goodbye.
Till we meet again, all my love.
Friends forever!
