Roseann (Santoro) Alongi, age 76, died Friday, February 10, 2017 at the Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley in Billerica. She was the beloved wife of David G. Alongi to whom she was married 59 ½ years. She was born in Boston, April 29, 1940, the daughter of the late Dominic and Jenoveffa (Cella) Santoro. For many years she worked as an office manager at Porter Sargent Publishers in Boston. Born with a gift of music, Roseann throughout her life played piano and organ at churches throughout the Boston area. Besides her husband, she is survived by her sisters, Lilly Sherren of East Bridgewater and Jenny Ripley of Lowell, as well as many nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces. She was also the sister of the late Josephine Walsh, Mary Antonowich and Ersilia Natalia Kendrick.
