Thomas Robert Conlon, 73, of South Portland, Maine, passed away on June 24, 2017. Born in Boston, MA, Mr. Conlon was the son of the late Mildred Sullivan Conlon. Fiancé to Dorothy Burlamachi of Billerica, MA. Devoted father of Thomas F. Conlon, and his wife, Lynn, of Easley, SC; Kathleen Conlon, and her partner, Nelson Ventura of Aurora, CO; Frank Conlon and his wife, Michele, of Vacaville, CA; Kevin Conlon and his wife, Chacita, of Jacksonville, FL; Kelly Nieuwejaar and her husband, Khoren, of Scarborough, ME; and Dorothy Conlon of Hampton, NH. Brother of Joseph Conlon of Manchester, NH. Loving grandfather of Meghan Conlon, Rachel Conlon, Danielle O’Brien, Frankie Conlon, Marysia Conlon, Morgan Conlon and Mia Nieuwejaar. Mr. Conlon was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ann E. Conlon. He was a 26-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. The funeral will be held at Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Road, (Rt. 3A), Billerica, Saturday, July 1, at 8:00 A.M. followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary’s church, Billerica at 9:00 A.M.
