Obituary of James Hugh Williams
James Hugh Williams of Billerica, age 82 died suddenly at home on August 14, 2017.
He was the son of Olive (Lee) and Robert (Bob) Williams. He was the youngest of four siblings. Predeceased by death is his wife of 58 years,Barbara Williams, sister Marilyn Rose and brother Richard (Dick) Williams. James is survived by his three children, daughter, Deborah McAdoo and her husband Edward of Myrtle Beach, SC, daughter, Janet Brown and her husband Jeffrey of Chester, NH, son Paul Williams and his wife, Carrie of Tewksbury, Ma, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He worked most of his life as an auto mechanic at Woburn Foreign Motors. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his jovial nature, quick wit and anecdotal stories. He was a member of the Billerica Moose Club, a card carrying NRA member and a scratch ticket enthusiast. James's fondest memories were spending time at his camps in Maine, sitting by the fire on the beach, drinking beer, playing silly songs on the stereo and enjoying the laughter of family and friends, A celebration of life service will be planned for a future date, Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society as his wife Barbara, close family members and friends have been touched by this illness.
