The loss of a cherished loved one is the most devastating experiences a family can face. At times, the loss may seem unbearable. Please know that there are family and friends who care and more importantly Psalm 34:18 tells us that "God is near to those that are broken at heart. He is the God of all comfort. God will comfort you during this difficult time of grief. Our prayers are also with you and your family.

To Kathy's family. You don't know me, but I went to Longfellow with Kathy. I believe that we grew up in a special time when everyone knew each other, liked each other, laughed together, and cared about each other. Kathy was beautiful both inside as well as outside. I cherish all the good times we had together. Kathy will be missed but not forgotten. My love and condolences to you.

Through Betsy's time in the Pacific Northwest, it was our great good pleasure to get to know the Tracy family including Kathy and her own dear family. Betsy spoke frequently of her wonderful sister and when we got to know Kathy we understood why. Among many other things, we are struck at the length and depth of her commitment to teach Cambridge's children for 42 years! Our thoughts, prayers and all good wishes to the entire Carlisle-Tracy family.

To the Carlisle family: My sincere Sympathy on the loss of your Wife and Mother. I, too, knew Kathy from Longfellow. We were a class of children who developed a bond which has endured. Years after graduating Kathy was kind enough to let me borrow our "Class of 1959" picture, you see I had lost mine...she entrusted me to get a copy for myself. Which I still have. If it were not for her, I would not have this special piece from a time when all was well within our small world at the Longfellow Grammar School. Thank you Kathy for always being generous and kind.

I went to Longfellow School with a great bunch of kids and always considered Kathy to be one of the nicest. Altho we lost track after high school,I always thought of her as a friend.
I would like to share a fond memory from the 5th grade:
Kathy's Mother, Mrs. Tracy,( who was a sweetheart) invited another friend, Sandy Tsoukalas and myself over to watch an old time, true WW 2 movie with Kathy called "The Fighting Sullivans". It was about 5 brothers from the same family who all enlisted in the Navy and served together on the same ship. The ship was attacked and all 5 boys were lost. It was the saddest movie I had ever seen and Mrs. Tracy handed out kleenex to all of us as we cried our eyes out.It was a bonding experience.
When we managed to get ourselves together and the movie was over, Mrs. Tracy took us all out in the kitchen and made "pizza" with English muffins. I have seen that movie several times over the years and have thought of being over with Kathy each time.
Kathy also went to the "Y" with a bunch of us on Tuesday nights when we were in the 6th grade where we learned how to do the "Twist" and the "Cha Cha Cha". Those were fun days.
To all of the Tracy/Carlisle family, please accept my sincerest sympathy. She will always be missed.

I send my sincere condolences to the family of Kathy Tracy. I was at CHLS with her for my final two years of HS. She was a beautiful and delightful young woman back then. I would have to say she was the girl I knew best in those times and I remember here very fondly. PAX.
