Veronica (Vera) C. Cote, 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 19, following a long illness. She lived for many years in Keene, NH and Chelmsford, MA prior to moving to Springhill, Fl. She spent her last year’s residing at D’Youville Senior Center in Lowell, MA. Vera loved being at the ocean and walking the beach, gardening, crafts, knitting, sewing and her dog Danielle. She was known by many for being a great cook. She will be lovingly remembered by all that knew her. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Veronica Roma, and her husband H. Paul Cote and her brother Robert J. Roma and sister in law Elizabeth Roma. Vera is survived by her children, Karen Edwards, Susan VanArsdale, David and Doreen Cote and Kimberly Cote; her 8 grandchildren, Courtney VanArsdale, Kristin Edgerton, Michael, Kelly and Christopher Cote, Tori, Alexandra and Tiger Bland; and one great grandson Jacob. Funeral from the Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Rd., (Rt. 3A), Billerica, Monday, November 27, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Theresa’s Church, Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
