Peter was born in Portland, Maine to Henry and Irene (Lombard) Brown. He attended Westbrook Public Schools and moved to Cambridge in 1973 where he resided until his passing. Peter was a familiar face, riding his bike and smoking his pipe throughout the Port community. Peter held many jobs in the community over the years. He had a unique sense of humor and would always make you laugh. He loved to spend time with his family and enjoyed watching movies and listening to music. He was always on the go, riding his bike for miles just to spend time with the people he loved. Peter always spoke of ‘the way life should be’ and would share his dreams with you, even include you in them. He was a gentle man and his kindness reached so far. Everyone knew Uncle Peter, and if you were a friend, you were family. In addition to his parents, Peter was predeceased by his sisters; Audrey Merrill and Sandra Darling (Brown). He is survived by his brother Henry Brown and sister Judith Gairachty (Brown). Nieces, Irene Dunbar, Dyavana Howard, Desirae Howard, Elizabeth Darling, Kimberly McCarthy, and Anna Hallet. Nephews, Derrick Howard, Zavier Dunbar, Dazier Scroggins, Frederick Darling, William Brown and Joel Brown. As well as a host of great nieces, nephews and loving friends.
